You ever been so bored with your daily routine that you need to take a trip to a psychedelic wonderland to hang out with a big purple blob and eat some talking food, just to feel something? Of course you have.

During her morning commute, Patty dozes off and wakes up in the wacky world she remembers from her childhood. Led by Birdie, the mischievous Hamburglar, and lovable Grimace, Patty travels across the treacherous Filet-O-Fish Lake to Grimace Island, through a Spicy Sprite Storm in the haunted Graveyard of Discontinued Menu Items, and all the way to the Sundae Mountains to find the only person who can get her home – the one and only Ronald McDonald. 

Will she make it back before her big meeting, or stay lost in McDonaldland forever?

The 6-part, weekly animated web-series was conceived as a modern refresh of the popular 90’s cartoon series The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald, filled with callbacks and easter eggs for true McDonaldland fans. Like Patty, Gen-Z’ers and Millennials were invited to take a break from adulting, and bask in the tripped-out, technicolor glory of the childhood fantasyland they remember from the good old days. After all, You’re Never Too Old for a New Adventure.

Complete with Fry Guys, McSpaghetti, and a McNugget Buddy Boy Band, the show is full of fan favorite menu items, easter eggs, and characters from the McD’s archives – and even a few grown-up gags – all designed to remind fans who grew up with Ronald, Grimace and the gang why they’ve loved this brand for decades.

It was an absolute blast to make, and a first-of-its-kind project for WKNY. each episode got an original movie poster treatment and a live premiere on YouTube, so nostalgic fans could watch together.
